This study is entitled: “A Study on Homonymy in Helong Language used in Batuinan Village, Semau Sub-district, Kupang Regency”. This research was conducted based on the phenomenon of homonymous. In addition the research of homonymous analysis in Helong language. This research aims to identify and describe the types of homonymous words of the Helong language, and describe the meaning of homonymous words in the Helong language used in Batuinan village, Semau sub-district Kupang regency. The researcher chose 5 informants. This research was descriptive-qualitative method. In collecting the data the researcher used observation, interview and recording to decide the word which has homonymous. The result shows that there are 15 Homonymous words in the Helong language in Kupang regency, namely Ai, Kela, Nus, Nodan, Tu, Ka, Ola, Tene, Ta, Mali, Sila, Li, Un, Papa, and Kado. The researcher identified the type of homonymous obtained where the 15 homonymous words were the complete type (full absolute). The results shows that 15 words have the same pronunciation and the same spelling in Helong language. Keywords: Homonymous, Semau, Helong Language.
