This thesis is entitled “A Study on Verb-Attached Inflectional Morphemes in Amabi Dialect of Uab Meto Spoken in Naioni, Kupang City”. The problems of this study are: 1. What are verbattached inflectional morphemes used in Amabi dialect of Uab Meto spoken in Naioni? 2. What are functions of those verb-attached inflectional morphemes in Amabi dialect of Uab Meto spoken in Naioni?. The aims of the study are 1. To identify and describe the verb-attached inflectional morphemes in Amabi dialect of Uab Meto spoken in Naioni and 2. To describe functions of those verb-attached inflectional morphemes in Amabi dialect of Uab Meto spoken in Naioni. This study uses the qualitative descriptive method to analyze the data. Techniques of data collection were observation, elicitation, audio recording, and note-taking. Data analysis techniques were transcribing, translating, sorting, identifying, and describing. The result of this research showed that there are two types of inflectional morphemes: they are proclitic and passive prefix. Proclitic consist of proclitic {u-}, {mu-}, {m-},{n-},{na-},{ta-}, and {mi-}. Passive proclitic is {an}. Each of these morphemes has its own functions. Proclitic {u-}, {mu}, {m-},{n-},{na-}expresses singularity and as a subject-verb agreement, and clitic prefix {ta} {mi-} expresses plurality and as a subject-verb agreement, passive prefix {an-} indicates passive. These inflectional morphemes only agree with subjects, not objects.
