<note>The problems in this study are: (1) What are the forms of Upaf Bife Lalan in the marriage ceremony of Oelbanu Village, South Amfoang District?; (2) what is the meaning of the form of Upaf Bife Lalan in the wedding ceremony of Oelbanu Village, South Amfoang District? the objectives of this study are to find out the form of Upaf Bife Lalan in the marriage ceremony of Oelbanu Village, to describe the meaning of the form of Upaf Bife Lalan in the marriage ceremony in Oelbanu Village. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The data sources for this study are the traditional elders in Oelbanu Village who know about customs and traditions. Data collection was carried out using several techniques, namely observation, interviews, picture taking, and recording. Data analysis was carried out by transcribing oral data into written form, identifying the form and meaning of the Upaf Bife Lalan ritual, and describing the types of forms and meanings in the Upaf Bife Lalan ritual speech. In the results of this study, the writer found that the forms in Upaf Bife Lalan include several livestock such as bijael, muti sala, atemef, and noni sulat in form according to the recipient's request, the meaning of this form is as an expression of gratitude and respect for the customs of the woman, and as a souvenir for the bride's family and In addition to these forms, there are several symbols in the form of trays that have contents including five trays containing the Bible and candles, okomama, puah manus nok ao, beti, tais nok beti ana, amnatu, and women's clothing used daily, from this, the symbol has a meaning as a sense of respect for the bride's family. The types of meaning contained in the Upaf Bife Lalan Ritual, namely: cultural meaning, and connotative meaning.
