<note>Modern telecommunications rely heavily on devices capable of transmitting data wirelessly. The ESP32.CAM microcontroller, which uses Wi-Fi + Bluetooth dual mode, has limitations in the signal strength received over long distances. To solve this problem, this research aims to design a collinear antenna at a frequency of 2.4 GHz to improve the signal performance of the ESP32.CAM. The research method involves designing a collinear antenna and testing its performance by replacing the ESP32.CAM standard PCB antenna. Tests were conducted using a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) to measure VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) and antenna gain, as well as measuring RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) values at various distances. The results showed that the designed collinear antenna successfully achieved VSWR of 1.10 and antenna gain of 9.32 dB, which is higher than the standard PCB antenna. Further testing shows that the distance between the sender and receiver greatly affects the RSSI value, with the signal decreasing as the distance increases.
