<note>This research was conducted to answer the following problems: (1) What are the cultural content of the English culture represented in “Bright an English Course” Textbook? (2) How do the textbook “Bright an English Course” represent the content of English culture?. The analysis of English cultural content in this textbook includes all major English-speaking countries, such as Australia, Canada, Ireland, all regions of United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland), and the United States of America. The aims of this research are to find out the cultural content of the English culture that are represented in the textbook and to explain how the textbook “Bright an English Course” represents the content of English culture. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected from an English textbook “Bright an English Course” for SMP/MTs Grade VII. In collecting the data, the writer used document analysis as the research instrument of this study. The techniques of data collection that the writer used were observation, documentation, and note-taking. After collecting the data, the writer analyzed the data by understanding the material, then categorizing the cultural content based on Yuen’s framework, and lastly, making interpretations. The results of this study showed that the textbook “Bright an English Course” for SMP/MTs Grade VII contains cultural content that represents English culture, with a total of twenty six English cultural content. The results of the analysis reveal a diverse representation of English culture, with a predominant focus on products with twenty English cultural content, followed by persons with three English cultural content and practices with two English cultural content. And lastly, perspectives being the least represented with only one English cultural content. The representation of English cultural content in the textbook "Bright an English Course" is conveyed through a variety of activities. These include textual exercise, conversational practices, and pictures.
