<note>This report explores my teaching practicum experience during the SEA Teacher Exchange Program Batch 10 at Laboratory High School, Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), Philippines. The practicum aimed to develop my English teaching skills, enhance cross-cultural communication, and increase adaptability in diverse educational settings. The practicum activities included orientation and observation, collaborative teaching, full teaching responsibility, and final reflection. Throughout the practicum, various teaching strategies were observed, such as inquiry-based learning, gamification, cooperative learning, and multimodal instruction. Challenges encountered included language barriers, cultural adaptation, and technical limitations in delivering instructional materials. These experiences fostered both professional growth and intercultural appreciation, deepening my understanding of Philippine education. Based on these insights, this report offers practical recommendations for UNDANA to establish a laboratory school and adopt clear assessment standards, highlighting the value of pre-service teacher exchange programs in preparing competent, adaptable, and globally minded educators.
