<note>Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang optimasi adsorpsi zat warna orange menggunakan adsorben biochar magnetik berbasis rumput laut (Eucheuma Cottonii). Kondisi optimum adsorpsi zat warna metil orange dipelajari menggunakan beberapa parameter seperti inisial konsentrasi awal, massa adsorben, pH larutan, waktu kontak dan suhu. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa adsorpsi zat warna metil orange oleh adsorben biochar magnetik menunjukan bahwa adsorpsi zat warna metil orange berlangsung maksimum pada konsentrasi 5 mg/L, massa 0,2gram, pH 6, waktu kontak 80 menit dan suhu 40 ͦ C dengan kapasitas adsorpsi dan efisiensi penyerapan secara berturut-turut sebesar 1,534 mg/g dan 24,54%, 1,534 mg/g dan 24,54%, 4 mg/g dan 44%, 4,4862 mg/g dan 71,79%, dan 3,3536 mg/g dan 60,12%.
