<note>This thesis is entitled “Using Of Imitation And Impersonation Methods In Learning English Speaking Through Learn English With Papa Teach Me Videos On Youtube (A Case Study To The First Semester Students Of English Study Program ). This study was conducted to answer these questions: (1) What are the Student's perceptions toward the use of Imitation and Impersonation Methods?. (2) How do they implement using imitation and impersonation in practicing English Speaking with Learn English Speaking with Learn English With Papa Teach Me videos as a medium?. (3) What are the problems/struggles that the learners found with this method?. The method used in this research was the qualitative descriptive method. Gathering data through interviews and questionnaires to explore students' perceptions, implementation strategies, and challenges faced in utilizing these techniques. Findings indicate that imitation significantly enhances pronunciation, fluency, and intonation, while impersonation aids in accent acquisition and contextual speech. Despite the benefits, learners encounter difficulties in replicating native-like pronunciation, maintaining correct intonation, and keeping pace with native speakers. The study highlights the potential of YouTube as an alternative digital learning medium and suggests incorporating structured imitation exercises into English language curricula to maximize speaking proficiency.
