This study entitled: “ The Meaning Of The Song In The Li Ngae Regional Dance Of The Helong Tribe In Semau Island”. This study was conducted to answer the research problem: (1).What are the symbolic meaning contained in the song? (2). What are the meaning contained in the song? The aims of this study are: (1). To find out the meaning of the symbols contained in the song (2). To find out the meaning contained in the song. To find out what are the symbols and cultural meaning contained in the song the method that the researcher used was descriptive qualitative method. The data sources is one informant who know about The Li Ngae Song. The data collected by using some techniques, such as : Interview and note taking. The data were collected by using : Data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.The results show that The Li Ngae song contained of six symbols there is: Ikan Peres ( Pony Fish), Sisit Muti (White Snail), Pua (Areca Nut), Pilu (Sash), Bate Sang Loto ( Batik Fabric), Hope (Areca Nut Place)..
