<note>This study examines the impact of “Using Song in Improving Vocabulary Mastery of The Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 6 Kota Kupang.” The study aims to determine the effectiveness of using song in improving students’ vocabulary mastery of SMP Negeri 6 Kota Kupang. This study used the mixed methods approach, to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon. The subject of this study are 20 seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Kota Kupang. Data were collected through observation and tests. Data analysis was conducted by calculating the percentage of observation data and students test results to determine the implementation of learning and student mastery in the learning process. The result of this study indicate that after learning English song, 19 out of 20 students achieved the success criteria, with a success 
rate of 86.15%. this suggests that using English song is an effective way to improve vocabulary mastery of seventh-grade students. The findings of this study are consistent with previous research conducted by Ummi Kalsum (2019), which found that songs can improve students’ English language skills. Additionally, another study by Febriah Ramah (2015) showed that using songs in English language learning can increase students’ motivation and interest. Thus, this study reinforces, the conclusion that using songs in English language learning can enhance vocabulary mastery among students. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective enjoyable English language teaching methods.
