Abstract: This study aims to examine the issue of legal protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers, in order to ensure the fulfillment of their rights in all activities before, during, and after work. work. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a normative juridical approach. The results of the study indicate that the protection of migrant workers from the perspective of gender equality and justice can be seen in the aspects of access, participation, control, and benefits as regulated in Law Number 18 of 2017 concerning the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers which are spread in the provisions of this law, including: other protection at the time of pre-placement, at the time of placement, and after placement, as well as legal, social and economic protection. Thus, it can be concluded that this law is classified as responsive to gender equality and justice. Keywords: protection, migrant workers, equality, gender, justice.
