It aims to answer two questions: (1). What noun constituent structures are there in Kiwangone dialect of Lamaholot language? (2). How are noun phrases in Kiwangone dialect of Lamaholot language constructed? The objectives of this study are to find out noun phrases construction that is used in Kiwangone dialect of Lamaholot language, to show the types of noun phrases in Kiwangone dialect of Lamaholot language and to explain the construction of the noun phrases in Kiwangone dialect of Lamaholot language. The result of this study are (1) the types of noun phrases in Kiwangone dialect of Lamaholot language are noun head modified by indefinite and definite article, demonstrative article, noun, quantifier, adjective, prepositional phrase, and adjective clause. (2). The construction of noun phrases in Kiwangone dialect of Lamaholot language is strictly right-headed language, and therefore it only has a singletype of noun phrase; that consist of noun head and post modifier (Noun + Modifier). There are two types of noun phrases modified by possessive in Kiwangone dialect of Lamaholot language, they are suffix –n on the pronoun and clitic as possessive. For example, the phrase aho go'én (aho + go'én) have another structure go'é ahuk (go'é + ahu+ clitic -k). Noun phrase modified by a possessive adjective with clitics as a possessive is a phenomenon where the noun head of the phrase got clitics that refer to pronoun. For example, the phrase kamé ahukem ‘our dog’. The word ahu-kem of the phrase has the root aho 'dog' got the clitic -kem become ahukem. The clitic -kem of phrase kamé ahukem refers to pronoun kamé ‘we’. the presence of clitic –kem from the phrase can make the word ahukem stand alone without kamé ‘we’ but still convey the same meaning ‘my dog’.
