Aseptic technique is a preventive measure to reduce the risk of microorganisms entering the patient’s and operator’s bodies. In aseptic technique, the application of aspects in veterinary medical practice services includes aspects of completeness of facilities, patient preparation, and operator preparation. This study aims to determine the completeness of the facilities, the application of aseptic techniques to patients and operators pre to post operatively at veterinary medical practice services in Kupang City, here in after referred to as A, B, C, and D medical practice services. Sampling was carried out at that location, by conducting a site survey and permit application first followed by distributing questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. The results of the research on these 3 aspects are then given a score score, namely the value of 1%-40% is categorized as poor, 41%-69% is categorized as sufficient, and 70%-100% is categorized as good. From the results of the study, it is known that the aspect of completeness of facilities in medical practice services A and C meets 91.17% (score 31/34 statements), and medical practice services B and D meet 94.11% (scores 32/34 statements). Aspects of operator preparation, medical practice services A, B, C, D meet all application standards by obtaining a score of 6 out of 6 statements provided. Aspects of operator preparation in medical practice services A, B, and D meet 88.8% (score 8/9 statements) of the standard for applying preparation to operators, and medical practice service C meets 66.6% (score 6/9 statements) of application standards operator preparation. Based on the results of research on 3 aspects of the application of aseptic techniques, it is known that aspects of completeness of facilities and patient preparation have scores above 90%, and aspects of operator preparation in one medical practice service have not met scores above 69%.
