<note>The data of the result of this study were collected at Jati Lima village in 2021. The writer selected four informants from Jati Lima village, West Wewewa, South West Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara. During the coronavirus disease, the writer did the research by interviewing the informants by mobile phone, not face to face. The writer used two techniques to collect the data, they were interviews and recording.The aims of this study are; 1. to find out the antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms in the Wewewa language. 2. to describe the use of antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms in communication. This research isdescriptive qualitative. The writer analyzedthe data that were obtained to answer the questions of the research problem: 1.What are the antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms in Wewewa Language? 2. How are the antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms used in communication?Based on the data analysis result, the writer found the words of antonyms are fourty words, the words of synonyms are fourty words and the words of homonyms are fourty words from the four informants.In discussions, almost all the antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms of the Wewewa language are used based on the context that is being spoken. The words using certain unique ways with particular time. The writer took some words of each antonym, synonyms, and homonyms. For examples; the word antonym of “ama (father)”, this word can not be call as antonym without the word “ina (mother)” as opposite, the word synonym “nga’a (eat)” can not be call as synonym without having another words (mana’a) which means eat, the word homonym “loka” which means “uncle and aunty” can not be call as homonym if that word only having one meaning. The writer took some words of each antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms and described them on discussion to answer the research questions of this study.
