<note>This study used descriptive qualitative method to reveal two research questions, they are (1) what are forms found in Sodha traditional speech in Gawi dance performed by Endenese people?, (2) what are types of meanings of forms in Sodha traditional speech in Gawi dance performed by Endenese people?. There are two aims of the study they are (1) to identify forms found at Sodha traditional speech in Gawi dance performed by Endenese People, (2) to describe types of meanings of Sodha traditional speech in Gawi dance performed by Endenese People. The aims of this research was to find  out the form and meanings of Sodha speech in gawi dance performed by endenese people. The data was taken from three informants. The techniques of data collection are observation, recording, interview, and note taking. Procedures of the data analysis used in this research are identifying and describing.  The result shows that: 1. there are eight kinds of forms that found in the speech, such as: Du’a and Ngga’e, Ono Rina, Ghale wena. This forms has same meaning but different in forms related to the speech. 2. Types of meaning of forms found in this study are (a) religious meaning, example: Du’a gheta Lulu wula, Ngga’e ghale wena tana, pati kami muri pawe, tebo no mae ola muri kami, kobe no leja du limba leta. Kami gha ono rina, ono gaga bo’o kewi ae, ono tedo tembu ina wesa wela, Ono nge bhondo ina beka kapa.( Father in heaven, Father on earth, give us a better life, healthy soul and healthy life, night, day, and forever. We come to ask, abundantly harvest, ask for what we plant, can bloom and give us a lot). (b) social meaning, example: To’o lei dowa mbana lei mbeja, ndawi lima mawe rowa bowa, mai mo dari bela gha koja kanga, gawi sama-sama tipo pama iwa dowa sala.( Hold tight our hands, come and stand together in this offering alter, everybody wake up and stand together, make sure holding hand each other, take care and perfectly hold us). (c) historical meaning, example: Kami mo tau dari nia pase la’e, we kami ngala gare naja miu.( We will stand to replace your position, so we can make you proud of us). (d) economic meaning, example: Mo pati walo ka, ti’i walo pesa.( We will feed you, on the alter for the dead). The results of this writing were also expected to be one of the references for anyone who wants to conduct research dealing with Sodha speech in Gawi dance.
