This study deals with pronouns in Kedang language. The aims of this study are 1) To indentify the types of pronouns in Kedang Language and 2) To describe the forms of the pronouns. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The resources of the data are 3 native speakers of Kedang language. The research was carried out for about 1 month in Mampir village, Kedang, Lembata. The techniques used to collect the data were recording, eliciting and note taking. The techniques of data analysis used in this study are transcribing the recording, identifying and classifying the types of pronouns, and describing the use of the pronouns in clause. The result of this study shows that there are 5 types of pronouns found in Kedang language. They are personal pronouns, possesive pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, reciprocal pronouns and interrogative pronouns.The personal pronouns in Kedang language can stand at the beginning of a sentence as subject or also after a verb as an object. The reciprocal pronoun ‘udeq nore udeq’. The demonstrative pronouns in Kedang language are distinguished by position of items. Three interrogative prononouns are identified in Kedang language. They are ‘ape’ used to ask about things, ‘sio’ used to ask about people, and ‘dita’ used to ask about both people and also things. Keywords : Pronouns, Kedang language.
