A STUDY ON NATONI RITUAL SPEECH AT PUAH MAKUKE MAUN MAKUKE CEREMONY  BY FALAS TRADITIONAL VILLAGE IN SOUTH CENTRAL TIMOR REGENCYBy: Jemri E. D. L Liu. There are three problems of this reserach. The first problem is what are the forms found in Natoni ritual speech at puah makuke maun makuke ceremony by traditional Falas village in South Central Timor Regency. The second one is what are the meanings of forms faund in Natoni ritual speech at puah makuke maun makuke ceremony by traditional Falas village in South Central Timor Regency, and the third is what are values found in Natoni ritual speech at puah makuke maun makuke ceremony by traditional Falas village in South Central Timor Regency. The aims of this research are to find out the forms found in Natoni ritual speech and to describe the meanings and values of the forms found. The appropriate method used in this writing is descriptive qualitative method. It was conducted in Falas village, south central timor regency. The data were collected by using two techniques such as observation and interview. Both the observation and interview were recorded. The analysis of the data began with tanscribing, translating and identifying the types of forms found, interpreting the meanings of forms and values found,  and categorize the meanings into the seven types of meaning. The result of this research shows that there are three forms found by the writer. The three forms are words, phrase, and sentences. These forms use the connotative meaning because the form has an  assosiation meaning and different from its lexical meaning. The most of forms contains ethical values(courtesy).Key words: Forms, meanings, natoni, ritual speech, values.</note>
