This thesis is entitled “An Analysis of Code Mixing Used in Najwa Shihab’s Youtube Channel”.The research problems are: First, what are the forms of code mixing found in Najwa Shihab’s youtube channel? Second, what are the possible reasons of using code mixing in Najwa Shihab’s youtube channel? The aims of this research are: to find out the forms of code mixing used in Najwa Shihab‟s YouTube channel and to identify the possible reasons of using code mixing used in Najwa Shihab‟s YouTube channel. The research method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The data sources were videos of Catatan Najwaentitled“Bersama Maudy Ayunda” and “Catatan Najwa X Agnes Mo”. The researcher used document analysis as the data collection technique. The data analysis techniques were: identification, classification and description. The result showed that there are 100 data of code mixing that found in this study. For the form of code mixing the researcher found five forms of code mixing, they were: code mixing in the form of word consisted of 29 data, code mixing in the form of phrase consisted of 31 data, code mixing in the form of clause consisted of 28 data, code mixing in the form of hybrid consisted of 11 data, and code mixing in the form of repetition consisted of 2 data. Meanwhile, for the reasons of code mixing the researcher found four reasons of code mixing, such as: talking in particular topic, being emphatic about something, expressing group identity and repetition used forclarification.
