The discussion in this research contains the kinds and meanings of figurative languages and educational values found in Anne Frank’s novel entitled “The Diary of A Young Girl.” In this research, the writer used the qualitative method to focus on textual data analysis. The writer explains some theories related to figurative languages and educational values and then collects the data from the novel itself. Based on the theories, the writer selects some sentences containing figurative languages and educational values and analyzes them to know their kinds and meanings. The result showed that Anne Frank’s novel contains many figurative languages, such as; simile has thirty-five sentences, metaphor has nine sentences, hyperbole has nine sentences, and personification has seven sentences. On the other hand, onomatopoeia has eleven sentences, alliteration has eight sentences, the apostrophe has one sentence, irony has two sentences, metonymy has three sentences, and rhetoric has five sentences. It also has many educational values, but the researcher had concluded them into four main values: social value has seven sentences, moral value has five sentences, religion value has twelve sentences, and cultural value has five sentences.
