Kupang city is one of the region in East Nusa Tenggara province that is prone to natural disasters, besides that this area has also been hit by several natural disasters. The presence of a geographic information system can help the public to see information on the distribution of region in Kupang city that are prone to natural disasters such as the name of the disaster, the name of the location, photos of the location and the potential impact of the disaster. The system is designed in a structured and systematic manner using the waterfall development method. The system testing method used is using the black box method, which shows that the results of tests carried out from various system components such as input, read, delete, update and other modules can run well. The conclusion is that the Geographic Information System mapping disaster-prone areas in Kupang city can run well and can be operated properly by users.
