This thesis is entitled “Analysis of Inflectional Suffixxes in Helong Language”. The problems of the study are: (1) What inflection affixes are there in Helong language and, (2)What are the functions of the inflection affixes in Helong language. The aims of the study are: (1) to describe inflectional suffixes that occur in Helong language and (2) to explain the function of the inflectional suffixes in Helong language. This research employed descriptive qualitative method to analyze the data. Techniques of data collection were elicitation and recording. The techniques of data analysis used were transcribing, identifying, listing, and analyzing. The results of this study show that there are two inflectional suffixes; they are suffix –as and suffix -s. Each of these suffixes has its own functions. Suffix -as expresses plurality and and suffix -s expresses agreement between subject and the verb in terms of number. Keywords: morphology, inflectional suffixes, suffix, Helong language
