<note>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan metabolit sekunder dan kandungan kurkuminoid pada bahan segar dan serbuk rimpang kunyit asal Kecamatan Miomaffo Barat dengan menggunakan metode uji fitokimia dan kromatografi lapis tipis. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu esktrak rimpang kunyit baik serbuk maupun bahan segar positif mengandung metabolit sekuder yaitu alkaloid, flavonoid, terpenoid, tanin dan saponin. Profil KLT yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak rimpang kunyit mengandung senyawa kurkuminoid yaitu kurkumin, demetoksikurkumin dan bisdemetoksikurkumin.
