The title of this research is “An Analysis Of Speaking Problems In Daily Communication made by The Fifth Semester Students’ In English Department Of Nusa Cendana University “. The aim of this research is to find out the factors that make it difficult for students to speak English in the campus area especially in the English Department study program. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The object of this research was students in the Fifth Semester of the English Department . This research used observation and questionnaire to collect data and to answer the research questions. The researcher used four main steps (1) Identifying the result of questionnaires. (2) Classifying the result of questionnaires into some types. (3) Rate the result of questionnaires and find the highest type which is the most chosen by the students to become the last result. (4) researchers make their conclusions based on existing data. From the result of this research, The students should realize that speaking English is very useful for them, especially since they are in the English department and should be English teachers in the future. The researcher hopes that this research can help others discuss or learn about a related topic.
