Sumba Ongole cattle are one of the most local breeds of cattle found in Indonesia. In bulls, four accessory glands are the ampulla, vesicular gland, prostate gland, and bulbourethral gland. This study aims to determine the anatomical morphology and histology of male accessory glands in Sumba Ongole cattle. The research samples were taken from six Sumba Ongole cattle slaughtered at the Slaughterhouse of East Sumba Regency. On macroscopic observation, tissue fixation in 10% formalin was carried out, tissue processing, and hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining process. The results showed that the male sex accessory glands on Sumba Ongole cattle have the ampulla, vesicular gland, prostate gland, and bulbourethral gland. Microscopically, each gland is covered with a capsule and has a secretory gland. The secretory glands of the ampulla are lined by cylindrical epithelium and have the serous type. The secretory glands of the vesicular glands are lined with cylindrical epithelium and have a seromucous type, the secretory glands of the prostate gland are lined by cuboidal epithelium and have the seromucous types, and the secretory glands of the bulbourethral glands are lined by cuboidal epithelium and have the mucous type.
