The title of this study is “A Study on Reduplication in Wotan Dialect of Lamaholot Language”. The focuses of this study is paid on reduplication in Wotan dialect of Lamaholot language. The aims of this research is to know the types of reduplication used in Wotan dialect of Lamaholot language, to find out the meanings that any reduplication in Wotan dialect of Lamaholot language imply, and to find out the part of speech or word class of Wotan dialect of Lamaholot language that undergoes reduplication. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted in Oyangbarang village, Wotan Ulumado sub-district, East Flores regency on January 21st until February 2nd 2022. The subjects of this research were the speaker of Wotan dialect of Lamaholot language. The research selected five informants with the following details; three older people; they are working as farmer and two younger people; one of them is a teacher and other is a students. The data collection of this research was taken by two methods; recording and elicitation. In this study, there researcher used two procedures of analyzing the data; data display and data verification. The result of this research is that there are found two types of reduplication in Wotan dialect of Lamaholot language; they are full reduplication and rhyming reduplication. Reduplication in Lamaholot language indicates three meanings and occurs with three word class or parts of speech. Those three meanings are reduplication indicating degradation, reduplication indicating continuous events and reduplication indicating intensity. Where as those three word class that undergo reduplication are noun, verb, and adjective. Keywords: Reduplication, Wotan dialect, Lamaholot language
