<note>This research aims is intended to investigate students’ perceptions in listening skill using the Spotify application outside the classroom and students’ responses if Spotify application used into the process of listening learning in classroom. The researcher used qualitative descriptive method. The samples was a group of 4th semester English Study Program students at Nusa Cendana University Kupang especially class A in the academic year 2021/2022. The data was collected using 25 items questionnaire that consists of three part such as closed-ended questionnaire, Likert-scale questionnaire, and open-ended questionnaire given through Google Forms. Some interview was used to strengthen the data which are analyzed descriptively by the writer. The result of research showed the used of Spotify application outside the classroom affect and improve students’ listening skill. It was indicated by an average of 26.5 percent students agreed with several statements on the questionnaire. Besides, from the interview they gave some arguments that there were three difficulties encountered by students in listening namely accent, unfamiliar vocabulary, also length and speed of listening. However, they also gave a positive response if the application implemented into listening learning process in classroom because, it provide interesting features such as music playlists and podcasts to support and increase their motivation in listening. Therefore, it become consideration and recommendation for lectures to support students in listening class.
