This thesis is entitled "A Study Of Language Disorder Experienced By A 12 Years Old Girl Named Kelly At Lowewini Community Kupang". It was conducted to answer the following questions; What are the types of language disorder experienced by Kelly ?; What are the symptoms of Language Disorder underwent by Kelly ?. This Research used descriptive qualitative method which the data collected is not in the form on numbers, but the data comes from interview. The aims of this research is to describe the types and the symptoms of language disorders suffered Kelly. The subject of this research was A 12 Years Old Girl Named Kelly At Lowewini Community Kupang. Children with language disorder will typically delayed in learning or speaking their first words and phrases. When they do speak, their sentences are shorter and less complex than would be expected for their age. Someone with an expressive language disorder will have limited vocabulary, have trouble learning new words. Someone with a receptive language disorder have difficulty following directions, seem disinterested in conversations or social situation. The writer concluded that Kelly underwent both types of Language Disorder, namely Mixed Expressive and Receptive Language Disorder. The language disorder suffered by Kelly makes her difficult to express verbal communication, also effects on the difficulties to understand and comprehend what is being said or read. It analyze that this is a combination of the difficulties either in understanding the language or producing the language.
