USAHATANI PORANG (Amorphophallus Oncophyllus) DAN KONTRIBUSINYA TERHADAP PENDAPATAN KELUARGA DI DESA POCONG KECAMATAN LAMBA LEDA SELATAN KABUPATEN MANGGARAI TIMUR

This research was carried out in Pocong Village, Lamba Leda Selatan District, East Manggarai Regency, data collection was carried out in April 2022. The purpose of this study; (1) Knowing the total income of farmers in porang farming in Pocong Village, Lamba Leda District, South Manggarai Regency, (2) Knowing the contribution of porang farming to the income of farming families in Pocong Village, Lamba Leda District, South Manggarai Regency. This research was conducted using a survey method on the entire population of 35 porang farmers. The types of data collected are primary data and secondary data. The collected data were analyzed using income and contribution analysis. The average income for porang farming in Pocong Village, Lamba Leda District, South East Manggarai Regency in a year is IDR 9,020,000 per farmer and IDR 18,791,667 per hectare. The total cost of production in porang farming within one year is IDR 1,512,669 per farmer and per hectare is IDR 3,153,291 The total income received in a year from porang farming is IDR 7,507,331 per farmer and per hectare is IDR 15,656,709. Based on the results of the study, the contribution of porang farming in Pocong Village was 56.10% per farmer and 62.93 per hectare. This shows that porang farming is a source ofincome that contributes quite a lot to the income of farming families, so porang farming is very suitable for development in Pocong Village, South Lamba Leda District, East Manggarai Regency.
