The Use Of Stand-Up Sequence Game In Teaching Speaking Skill Of The Seventh Grade Students Of SMP Negeri 20 Kupang In The Academic Year 2022/2023
XMLThis thesis entitles “The Use of Stand-Up Sequence Game in Teaching Speaking Skill of the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 20 Kupang in the Academic Year 2022/2023”. The aims of this research is to know how the stand-up sequence game can be used to teach English speaking skill of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 20 Kupang. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this research were 22 students from class VII A of SMP Negeri 20 Kupang. This research was conducted in one month at SMP Negeri 20 Kupang which is located on JL. Adisucipto, Penfui Kupang. To collect data, the writer used observation, pretest, posttest, as the instruments of research. From the data obtained, the use of stand-up sequence game in teaching speaking skill was done through three main activities, they are (1) Pre-teaching activity, (2) Whilst teaching activity and (3) Post teaching activity. It is suggested that the stand-up sequence game can be effectively applied in teaching speaking skills to students, especially those in SMP Negeri 20 Kupang.
