English Teachers’ Perceptions On Strategies To Teach Reading Comprehension In Online Classes At Sabu Raijua High Schools

The purpose of this research is to find out the teacher's strategies and perceptions of teaching reading comprehension to English teachers in high schools in Sabu Raijua. This research is quantitative descriptive research in the form of collecting data and making a structured questionnaire list of questions. The population in this study were all high school Indonesian teachers in Sabu Raijua District, with a population of 5-6 teachers. Sampling in this study uses a saturated sampling technique the grounds of using a saturated sample then All populations are taken as a sample of 5-6 teachers, with the following criteria The following are: The subject teacher of this studied was an English teacher at There are 5-6 high school students in Sabu Raijua Sugiyono (2012). The data collection method used was the assessment instrument (questionnaire); analysis data was quantitative (numbers) with the aim of testing the hypothesis that has been applied. At the same time, the data analysis technique used was statistics descriptive by calculating the percentage of the score (mean) on the questionnaire based on strategies and indicators of teacher perceptions in teaching reading comprehension.
