This thesis is entitled “ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING MEDIA USED BYENGLISH TEACHERS IN SMAN 1 ROTE SELATAN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC’’. The aims of this research were to know what media were used in online teaching and learning conducted by Senior High School English teachers in SMAN 1 Rote Selatan during Covid-19 pandemic, what problems were faced by teachers and students in online teaching and learning conducted by Senior High School English teachers in SMAN 1 Rote Selatan during COVID-19 pandemic, how effective is the online teaching and learning process conducted by Senior High School English teachers in SMAN 1 Rote Selatan during COVID-19 pandemic. This research used descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research were 2 English teachers in SMAN 1 Rote Selatan. This research was conducted in a week in SMAN 1 Rote Selatan. In collecting the data, the writer used questionnaire in google form and interview. From the data collection, the writer found out the online media used by English teachers SMAN 1 Rote Selatan.
