A Study On Affixes Of Amanuban Dialect Of Uab Meto Language Spoken In Central Amanuban Sub District Of South Central Timor Regency

The title of this research is “A STUDY ON AFFIXES OF AMANUBAN DIALECT OF UAB METO LANGUAGE IN CENTRAL AMANUBAN SUB DISTRICT, SOUTH CENTRAL TIMOR REGENCY”. Purposes of this research are to identify the types of affixes in Amanuban dialect of Uab Meto language, to describe formation of the affixes in Amanuban dialect of Uab Meto language and to describe the function of the affixes in Amanuban dialect of Uab Meto language. This research used qualitative descrptive method. The subject of this research were 5 informants of Uab Meto native speaker. This research used observation, interview, recording and note taking to collect the data and to answer the research questions. From the Uab Meto affixes the researcher found that there are 6 prefixes and 2 suffixes. The prefixes are an-, na-, am-, a-, u-, mu- and the suffixes are-en and -n.From the result of this research, the researcher suggested Indonesian students to study the local language as one of the wealth of our culture and language that. Then the writer suggests the next researchers to do research on local languages.
