The Forms And Meanings Of Sabunese Traditional House As Anidentity Marker Of Sabunese People
XMLThe title of this research is “THE FORMS AND MEANINGS OF SABUNESE TRADITIONAL HOUSE AS AN IDENTITY MARKER OF SABUNESE PEOPLE”.
The problem of this research are (1) What are the symbols found in traditional house as an identity marker of Sabunese people? (2) What are the meanings of the symbols that found in traditional house as an identity marker of Sabunese people? The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The resources pf this research are obtained from the observation, interview, picture taking, audio recording, and take notes. The writer analyzed the data according to forms and meanings that has found in traditional house Ammu Rukoko. Based on the data analisys it has found out there are nineteen symbols in traditional house Ammu Rukoko, there are; Ammu Rukoko, Gari Durru, Kepoke, Hemala, Ru Kengoro, Kebo’bo, Wowadu Ha’u Naiki, Pai (Puloddo), Kekapi, Kenoto, Kedu’e Pedo’a, Kedu’e, Habatenae, Ketangarohe, Kerigidai, Kabbahuru Tadda Ailoko, Arru Kellaba, Arru Donahu, Arru Hawu. And also the nineteen symbols have their own meaning. From the findings, it is concluded that symbols found in traditional house Ammu Rukoko has nineteen symbols and each symbol has its own meaning.
