The Use Of Matching Game To Increase English Vocabulary Mastery Of Second Grade Students Of SD Agape Indah In The Academic Year Of
XMLThe research aimed to find out improving students’ vocabulary mastery by using Matching game. This research was conducted by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research was Second grade of SD Agape Indah In the academic year of 2022 – 2023, which consisted of 17 students. The object of this research was to improve the students’ vocabulary mastery through Matching game. This researcher was conducted in two cycles which each consists’ of pre test and second post test. vocabulary using matching game. Matching Game can be trusted to help remember students vocabulary and used the Game are interested in learning English vocabulary. Memorizing matching game can be used to increase English vocabulary mastery so that the purpose of learning English as a communication tool can be achieved optimally. It can be seen from the students’ score on vocabulary test which increased from vocabulary tests given in the Cycle I and Cycle II. In the students’ achievement Cycle I was 65.29 and Cycle II was 80,29. It can be concluded that game have a significant impact on improving students’ English vocabulary mastery.
