This study aimed to describe the difficulties in teaching and learning vocabulary that the English teachers faced at Tk Kasih Karunia Airnona Kupang. It was conducted to know the difficulties in teaching and learning vocabulary by English teacher and students at TK Kasih Karunia Airnona kupang. This study used the descriptive-qualitative method. the population was 15 students and teachers at Tk Kasih Karumia Airnona Kupang. The writer chose one class, which consists of 15 students and one teachers, as the sample. In this study the writer used two instruments. The first instrument was observation, and the second instrument was interview. The writer found that there are difficulties face by teachers and students: teacher were less able to manage the class, teacher found it difficult to control the class and that teachers experience difficulties in classroom management, students response, students difficuties pronunciation
