This thesis is entitled: ‘Semiotic Analysis of The Ark of The Covenant from The Book of Exodus in Chapter Twenty-Five Verses 10-22 of KJV Bible’. This research focused on signs that can be found on The Ark of The Covenant. The problems of the study are: first, what are the signs found on The Ark of The Covenant from the book of Exodus in chapter twenty-five verses 10-22 of KJV Bible. Second, what are meanings of signs found on The Ark of The Covenant from the book of Exodus in chapter twenty-five verses 10-22 of KJV Bible. This study aims to identify the signs found on The Ark of The Covenant from the book of Exodus in chapter twenty-five verses 10-22 of KJV Bible and to describe the meanings of signs found on The Ark of The Covenant from the book of Exodus in chapter twenty-five verses 10-22 of KJV Bible. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. The data resource of this study was verses 10-22 on The Ark of The Covenant from the book of Exodus of KJV Bible. The technique used to collect data was observation. The data were analyzed by using identifying and describing techniques. This research used a semiotic approach to identify symbols or signs and describe the meaning of these symbols or signs. The result shows that: (1) There are two parts of The Ark of The Covenant from the book of Exodus in chapter twenty-five verses 10-22 of KJV Bible that found essential symbols, such as (a). The symbols that were found on the outside were the body of the Ark of the Covenant. For example: the Ark of the Covenant, The Staves, Cherub/Cherubim, and Mercy Seat. (b). The symbols that were found on the inside of the Ark of the Covenant. For example: The Testimony, Golden vial of manna and Aaron’s budding staff. (2) There are each meaning of the essential symbols found on the outside and inside the Ark of the Covenant, such as: (a). Symbol found on the outside of the Ark: Example Cherub. Cherub refers to heavenly angels with wings that have the duty to guard the Garden of Eden and as the place where God dwelled above. (b). Symbol found on the inside of the Ark: Example the golden vial of manna. The golden vial of manna inside the ark symbolize that nothing is impossible for God and are proof of God's presence over the Israelites.
