Using Podcasts In Improving Listening Skill Of The Third Grade Students Of English Study Program 2020/2021

Listening skill is one of the four skills which is important in learning English, try to listen and write a word from their utterance is not easy.Podcasts have significant roles in motivating students in listening learning process and in making atmosphere inlearning process more enjoyable. The research is about using podcast in improving listening skill of the third grade students of English Study Program. The aims of the study are to find out problems faced by the third grade students and tofind out how can podcast in improving their listening skill. This research uses Experimental Research Design to analyze the result of this research, involve collecting quantitative data and performing statistical analysis on them during research. The collected data areanalyzed using SPSS 25 for Windows to know if there are any improvement.In collecting Student Result Card, the average listening score 1 was 3.1045 and the average listening 2 score was 3.1318. When doing the pre-test with Thirsty, the students' average score was 69.3182, many of which were below average. After the author gave treatment and gave a post-test with Vanilla, the average value obtained was 86.8182. The writer conclude that the result of increasing student scores from pre-test to post-test is 25,245895%.=
