Analisis Wacana Tentang Covid-19 Pada Ruang Publik Di Kota Kupang

Discourse analysis research on COVID-19 in public spaces in the city of Kupang aims to obtain an overview of the macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with observation and document techniques.
Based on the discussion, the following were found:
a. Macrotext structures in public spaces in Kupang City generally have the same topic and theme. The same topic and theme because it comes from the same idea.
b. The text superstructures found in public spaces in Kupang City generally discuss the same thing, namely the obligation to wear masks, wash hands, keep a distance (keep distance) whose discussion follows the flow of introduction, content, closing, and conclusions.
c. The microtext structure found in public spaces in Kupang City discusses the background, details, intent. The background is "Mask mandatory area" is an area or area in the form of a space that requires all customers to wear masks. Details: The issue of writing “Areas required to wear masks” because they realize that the area or area is a place where many people enter and communicate and interact with one another.Intent: The text on “Areas required to wear masks” is conveyed explicitly. This means that everyone in the area can easily understand the meaning and intent of the text. The coherence of the text "Required areas to wear masks" with portraits or pictures of teachers and school children implies that everyone who enters the school area must wear a mask. Every member of the school community who enters the area must wear a mask. The form of the sentence: "Areas are required to wear masks" are sentences in the form of statements and news. This sentence also has an active sentence structure. Analysis of the lexicon (meaning of the word) "Required area to wear masks" above, is formed on four lexicon, namely (1) area, (2) mandatory, (3) wearing, and (4) mask. From the four lexicon, three lexicon are formed from basic words, namely (1) area, (2) mandatory, and (3) mask. While one other word is formed from an affixed word, namely to use. Region means area or zone, mandatory means must, and a mask is a piece of cloth used to cover the mouth and nose. The word wear is a word formed or affixed which is formed from the basic word use and the basic form of use and gets the prefix N-, so it means to do. e) Stylistics (rhetorical) 1) Writing style: “Required area to wear masks” in the form of argumentation. 2) Graphics: Use of bold letters, italics, use of underlines, large fonts, including captions, rasters, graphics, pictures or tables to support the importance of information and messages. f) Coherence is the linkage of meaning. "The area must wear a mask" means that in the area (school) every customer is obliged to use a mask to protect himself and others from the spread and transmission of Corona-19.
g) The form of the sentence "Areas required to wear masks" is a news sentence or statement. h) The pronouns found in the "Required area to wear masks" are the word "school" replaced with the word "Region"
i) Lexicon: The sentence "Required area to wear a mask" consists of four words, namely (1) area (2) mandatory, (3) wearing, and (3) mask. The word "area" is a noun, "required" is a verb, "to wear" is a verb and "mask" is a noun. J) Presupposition: In the presupposition of "Required mask area" there are several important things to know, namely: a. There is a limited area or area. Mandatory indicates a necessity. c. It was found that customers were unwilling and disobedient to use masks. d. There were also customers who used masks as a form of obedience to the mandatory mask. e. Outside areas or areas where masks are required, there are many people who do not use masks. f. To remind everyone about the importance of masks when outside the home and in public spaces.
j) Graphic: "Required area to wear a mask" is a sentence written in black and red capital letters printed in bold on a yellow and white background. The choice of capital letters that are printed in bold with black and red colors makes every public eye fall on the writings that are printed in bold with a large font size.
