STUDENTS' PERCEPTION TOWARD BLENDED LEARNING METHOD (STUDY AT ENGLISH STUDY PROGRAM, NUSA CENDANA UNIVERSITY)

This research aimed at knowing student's perception and problems during the blended learning method at English Study Program, Nusa Cendana University. This research used descriptive-quantitative method. The total population was 351 students from the 4 th and the 6 th semesters. The researcher used purposive sampling techniques to select the sample. The total sample was 30 students. In this research, the researcher used two instruments. The first instrument was questionnaire to answer the first research question; how students' perception toward the blended learning method. The second instrument was an interview to answer the second research question; what problems faced by students in blended learning. The researcher analyzed the data by calculating and describing the data. The finding showed that the students' perception toward the blended learning method score 82.5% in the excellent category. And the blended learning barrier consists of less supporting network, student's lack of knowledge of subject, student's limited internet allowance, students are anxious about their academic performance, demanding and exhausting learning schedule. As a result, it was determined that students' perceptions of the blended learning method are good, but that some difficulties exist in the learning process.
