This study aims to identify theProcedure for Applying the Peer Tutor Learning Model in English Learningand application of the peer tutor learning model in English learning in Class VIII SMP Negeri 7 Kupang. In this study there are two research problems such ashow is the Procedure of the Peer Tutoring Method Implementation in English Lessons in grade VIII SMP Negeri 7 Kupang and How is the application of the peer tutor method implementation in English learning in grade VIII SMP Negeri 7 Kupang. The writer used library research and field research as the research procedures. The research method used in this study was descriptive qualitative research method. In this study the writer only selected of six classes of eighth grade students where each class consist of 29 students. Techniques used to collect the data are observation, interviews, and documents. The writer used identifying and describing techniques to analyze the data. The result of this study the study found that the use of peer tutoring methods in English learning procedures can improve student comfort, group expression, and competitiveness.The peer tutor method is also a learning strategy that provides benefits to students, tutors, and teachers that emphasizes activeness, understanding, and cooperation during learning. In addition, teachers focus on providing detailed solutions such as motivating students and directing them to complete tasks well, and evaluation at each influential meeting for student and teacher reflection. Their solution to solving the problem is theconsideration for educators or teachers, to not only choose tutors in terms of their activeness, and value in realizing peer tutor learning strategies in the teaching and learning process in the classroom to maximize further understanding and improve student learning outcomes or quality of education.
