An Analysis Of Meaning And Moral Values In The Lyrics Of The Anak Diong Song By Feliks Edon

This research has two main objectives, namely describing the meaning in the lyrics of the Anak Diong song by Feliks Edon, and describing the moral values in the lyrics of the Anak Diong song by Feliks Edon. The data in this research are the lyrics of the Anak Diong song by Feliks Edon, which contain meaning and moral values. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. This research was carried out in Oebobo sub-district. The informants for this research were three people from Manggarai. The data analyzed has successive steps, namely transcribing, analyzing, and describing. The results of this research were 33 data in the form of types of meaning consisting of: 1). Conceptual meaning (9 data), 2). Connotative meaning (10 data), 3). Social meaning (1 data), 4) affective meaning (13 data), 5). Collocative meaning (0), 6). Reflective meaning (0), and 7). Thematic meaning (0). Furthermore, 11 data are in the form of moral values characteristics consisting of: 1). 5 data related to responsibility, 2). 1 data related to conscience, 3). 5 data obligation, and 4). Formality (0).
