Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the important things that affect the survival, growth and development of children. WHO and UNICEF recommend that newborns should only be breastfed for at least six months in order to grow and develop optimally. These recommendations have been implemented, but the failure of exclusive breastfeeding still occurs. This study aims to analyze the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding in infants in the working area of the Sikumana Community Health Center. This type of research is a quantitative study using the cross sectional method. This research was conducted in the working area of the Sikumana Health Center with a sample of 61 babies. The data analysis used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the chi-square statistical test. The results of this study indicate that the predisposing factor associated with the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding in infants in the working area of the Sikumana Community Health Center, Kupang City is the level of maternal knowledge (p = 0.001), while the unrelated factor is the mother's age (p = 0.257). Enabling factors (enabling factors), namely exposure to information (p = 1,000), are not related to the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding for babies in the working area of the Sikumana Community Health Center, Kupang City. Reinforcing factors (reinforcing factors), namely family support (p = 0.000) and health workers (p = 0.028), are related to the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding for babies in the working area of Puskesmas Sikumana, Kupang City. The success of exclusive breastfeeding requires family support (especially husband) and complete information from health workers so that mother's knowledge increases.
