The problem of this thesis is: can the use of English songs develop vocabulary of tenth grade students of SMA N 1 Taebenu in academic year 2020/2021? It aims to know whether the use of English songs can develop vocabulary of tenth grade students of SMA N 1 Taebenu in academic year 2020/2021. The method used was the experimental method. There were two different groups of students, one group was labeled as the experimental group, and another one was determined as the control group. The research was conducted in SMA N 1 Taebenu. The population was tenth grade students of SMA N 1 Taebenu in the academic year 2020/2021. There were 168 students in tenth grade of SMA N 1 Taebenu as the population, and the sample was 42 students or 25% of 168 students as the population. The instrument used was a test. It was multiple-choice test that consists of 30 items. The data were analyzed by computing the significance of the treatment of scores, and by accounting the significance of the treatment by using songs, counting the mean of scores between the control group and experimental group during the pre test and post test were compared each other test to determine the difference by using the T-test formula. The result shows that English song can develop the vocabulary of tenth grade students of SMA N 1 Taebenu, because based on the obtained score of t-ratio was 2.79 and the degree of freedom was 44. The score of t-ratio is higher than 2.02108 of the t-table at the 5% level or P> 0.05 (5%) of significance, which null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. It means that the use of English songs can develop the vocabulary of tenth grade students in SMA N 1 Taebenu in academic year 2020/2021
