This study examines the use of the Total Physical Response (TPR) method to improve the vocabulary mastery of second grade students at Inpres Oenali Elementary School in the 2024/2025 school year. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the TPR method can improve the vocabulary skills of second grade students at Inpres Oenali Primary School.The researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the research method. To collect data, the researcher conducted observation, pre-test and post-test.The researcher used purposive sampling technique to analyze the data. Research findings show that Total Physical Response method can improve vocabulary acquisition in Grade 2 students of Impress Oenari Primary School, this can be evidenced by looking at the improvement in the post-test results of students after implementing Total Physical Response method in their learning process. The students' average score in the pre-test was 40 points, which increased to 100 points in the post-test.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Total Physical Response Technique is effective in increasing students' vocabulary.
