The method used in this research was the qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation from ten selected respondents. The findings revealed that students apply both in-class and selflearning strategies. On campus, students utilize audio listening and audiovisual materials provided weekly, though audio listening is more frequently used. Self-learning strategies include watching English films, listening to songs and podcasts, using mobile applications like Duolingo, and engaging with English content on social media. Supporting factors identified include internal motivation, vocabulary mastery, and conducive learning environments, including the roles of lecturers and facilities. Conversely, inhibiting factors include lack of motivation, limited vocabulary, difficulties adapting to the university learning system, and environmental distractions both on campus and at home.
