Faktor Pejamu Dan Lingkungan Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kejadian Demam Berdarah Dengue Di Puskesmas Betun Kabupaten Malaka
XMLDengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a public health problem that appears mostly in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Dengue fever is an acute disease caused by viral infection carried by female Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes which generally attack humans. This study aims to analyze the host and environmental factors associated with the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever at the Betun Community Health Center,
Malaka regency. This research is classified as a quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The sampling
technique used is simple random sampling with a sample size of 100 respondents. Statistical analysis used is logistic
regression analysis. The results showed the influence of host factors, namely Knowledge (p = 0.001), habit of hanging
clothes (p = 0.038), environmental factors such as the presence of water reservoirs (pv = 0.009) and the presence of
larvae (p = 0.036). Starting from these findings, it is necessary to increase promotive and preventive efforts at the
community health center level by conducting outreach activities to the public about risk factors for dengue fever,
adding information media such as banners, billboards and brochures about dengue fever.
