A Semiotic Analysis Of Traditional Song “Ina Nian Tana Wawa” In Sikka Language

The song containes of words included noun, verbadjective, pronoun and adverb, phrase included noun phrase verb phrase,adjective phrase and also adverb phrase and also simple sentences. Thesong containes religious meaning in ina nian tana wawa and ama lerowulan reta, cultural meaning in ganu du’a purek puter kapa, socialmeaning in ganu wunu hu’wau. Ina nan tana wawa and ama lero wulanreta is the symbolic of God which means the owner of earth and heaven.Wunu is the symbolic meaning of gathering which means the animals thatused to appear at the dusk or twilight. The symbol of protection is tenainang which means big ship that protect us from the big waves or the trialsand challenge in our life. The symbol of patience and dedication in du’apurek putar kapa which means woman who spinning the yarn.
