The problems of research to be answered in this study are; (1) To what extent is vocabulary mastery of the sixth-grade students of SDK St. Yoseph 1, Naikoten, Kota Kupang with the use of Raffi’s Christmas Children’s song in teaching and learning activities? (2) How can Raffi’s Christmas children's song improve the students' vocabulary mastery? This study aims to know about the students’ vocabulary mastery after using Raffi’s Christmas children song and find out how far the students understand the vocabulary after using Raffi’s Christmas children’s song. The subject of the research consisted of 31 students of Sixth- grade students of SDK Santo Yoseph 1, Naikoten. This research used quantitative descriptive research. This research is classroom action research. That consists of two cycles. The procedure of the research include: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The first Cycle and the second Cycle were carried out in two meetings. Each cycle, the students were given a test to do. In this research, the writer focuses on three songs namely Jingle Bells; We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and The First Noel. The KKM standard set is 65. In the first cycle, the Jingle Bells song, students who have met the standard were 5 students. In the second song, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, students who have met the standard were 6 students, and in the third song, The First Noel, students who have met the standard were 7 students. In the second cycle, the Jingle Bells song, students who have met the standard were 28 students. In the second song, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, students who have met the standard were 29 students, and in the third song, The First Noel, students who have met the standard were 28 students. Overall, this research shows that the students’ vocabulary from the first to the second cycle is successful. Children’s Christmas songs could improve students' vocabulary mastery.
