An Analysis Of Political Slogan Of Donald Trump On America’s Democracy Party

This thesis is entitled “ An Analysis of Political Slogan of Donald Trump on America’s Democracy Party”.
The questions problems of this study are (1) What are the forms of Political slogan used by Donald Trump in America’s Democracy Party? (2)What are the meanings of Political slogan used by Donald Trump in America’s Democracy Party? (3)What are the types of semiotic that find in political slogan used by Donald Trump in America’s Democracy Party? The aims of this study are (1)To explain the forms of political slogan that using by Donald Trump in America’s Democracy Party. (2)To explain the meanings of political slogan that using by Donald Trump in America’s Democracy Party. (3)To explain the types of semiotic that found in political slogan of Donald Trump in America’s Democracy Party. This study is used the qualitative descriptive method. From the results of the study, the author found that the form of Trump’s political slogan call Make America Great Again or MAGA is the part of word class and a persuasive sentence to persuade and order citizens to choose him. The author also found that the MAGA refers to Trump as a leader who can lead America to great again in discourse meaning and pragmatic meaning, it contains racism meaning.
MAGA also found in semiotic consists of three parts, symbol, index and icon.
